You may submit company details, trade identifiers, and supporting documents so that your profile can be reviewed and displayed on the platform. This information may be used for onboarding review, account verification, compliance visibility, and platform operations.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your Vegatrix account
• Display and review exporter company profiles
• Process onboarding, verification, and admin review workflows
• Provide platform dashboards, notifications, and support
• Handle payments where platform payment features are enabled
• Review, moderate, and improve platform quality and safety
• Detect abuse, fraud, or policy violations
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

Vegatrix may use third-party payment providers to process payments where payment features are available on the platform.

We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. Payment providers process and store payment details according to their own privacy policies and security standards.

We store only payment status, amounts, currency, and provider reference IDs needed for confirmation and record purposes where applicable.

Vegatrix uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the platform.

We may use analytics tools to measure page visits, onboarding activity, and platform usage. Analytics data is aggregated and used for platform operations.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but some platform features may not work correctly without them.

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Verification, payment, and business records may be retained for legal, tax, dispute, fraud prevention, and business record purposes even after account deletion.
• Support messages are retained to maintain service quality and resolve disputes.
• When an account is deleted, personal data may be removed or anonymized unless retention is required by applicable law.

You may request account deletion through our data deletion page or by contacting privacy@vegatrix.com.

You may also request:

• Access to your personal data
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of your data, subject to legal and operational limits
• A copy of data you have provided

To make any of these requests, contact privacy@vegatrix.com and include your registered email address and the nature of your request. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Vegatrix is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Users under the age of 18 should use Vegatrix only with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, please contact privacy@vegatrix.com and we will take prompt action.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, including:

• Supabase Auth for secure login and identity management
• Role-based access controls so users can access only the data their role permits
• Postgres row-level security (RLS) that prevents unauthorized reads and writes
• Server-side verification for sensitive platform actions where applicable
• Restricted storage policies for uploaded files
• Environment variable protection for API keys and service credentials

Vegatrix operates from India and uses service providers such as Supabase and Resend, which may process data in multiple countries.

By using Vegatrix, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal requirements, or business practices.

When we make significant changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For major changes, we may notify you by email or through the platform.

Continued use of Vegatrix after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
